The Old Forest

The Old Forest is a line of track situated in the abandoned Silver Mine Line in the countryside of Chuggington.

Overgrown and covered with vines, the route is rarely used by chuggers nowadays; on its first appearance, Hoot and Toot got lost on their way to the Farm due to Hoot's colourblindness and had to go through the forest to get to their destination. While the line of track was earlier connected to the Countryside Intersection, sometime before the events of The Old Silver Mine Line, that link would be blocked - causing the forest route to now only lead to a dead end.

Trivia[]

Koko claimed to be exploring the Old Forest for the first time in The Old Silver Mine Line, despite going through it in the very previous episode, Explorer Koko. This not only suggests that the episodes happened in the opposite order, but also - due to the line being blocked during its last appearance - that there was a time skip of quite some time between them.
