Tankers are wagons or containers used for carrying liquid substances.
Tanker Wagons[]
Tanker wagons are the primary type of tanker that is used in Chuggington. They have been used to transport liquids such as milk [1] and feature special hose attachments for filling them with liquids. Dunbar once taught Wilson, Brewster and Koko how to use the hose attachments during a training session.[2]
Technical Details[]
Basis[]
Tankers wagons are based on tanker wagons that are used in the United States.
Livery[]
Tanker wagons are most commonly painted yellow with orange ends, brown bases and caps, and blue wheel trucks. Tanker wagons have also been painted turquoise with dark-blue ends and white stripes. In the first series episode, Koko and the Squirrels, a tanker wagon that is painted green with an orange base, yellow ladders, and blue handrails and caps appears.
Appearances[]
Trivia[]
- Tanker wagons use the wheel trucks of Wilson's original model.
Chug Wash Tanker Wagons[]
Chug Wash tanker wagons are small tankers that serve the Chug Wash. Chug Wash tanker wagons are used to store Chug Wash soap and the sludge that is cleaned off chuggers.
Technical Details[]
Livery[]
Chug Wash tanker wagons have two liveries. Chug Wash tanker wagons with green frames store Chug Wash soap, and ones with brown frames store sludge. All Chug Wash tanker wagons are made of unpainted brass with green accents and blue lids.

Fuel Tankers[]
Fuel tankers are tanker containers that contain flammable liquids such as diesel.[3] Fuel tankers are usually brought to Chuggington by ship and are stored at the Docks. Because of their lack of wheels, fuel tankers are loaded onto the Docks' flatcars for transport.
