The Spill-Sponger 330 Zed Model is a spreader car that can clean up stains on the track using salt or sand. The chugger spreads sand/salt on the tracks and waits for it to soak up the stains, afterwards, they would use a vacuum that is attached to the car to suck the sand back up. A similar car exists, but it uses sand to make it easier to grip the rails during icy weather.
