tracks. He's a bit slower now, and can't zip around like he used to preferring to take things "Slow but Steady". Old Puffer Pete loves watching the trainees work and learn, and always tries to pass on his his wisdom like a grandfather figure. Even though the young Chuggers might not always pay much attention. They generally realise they should have listened in the end however. Old Puffer Pete has a real sense of humor and loves to “pull the youngster's pistons." He can be a bit forgetful, especially when it comes to names! His online bio will say Walnut for Wilson, Cupcake for Koko, and Beeswax for Brewster!

Basis

It is possible Old Puffer Pete is a hybrid between the Union Pacific No. 119 and the USATC S100 Class tank engines as he is an old locomotive and used to be a tender engine, but after his tender gave him problems he was rebuilt as a tank engine. Also, his "tanks" and valve gear are loosly based on those of the USATC S100.
