- Despite voicing Asher on both sides of the Atlantic, McCalla gives the character a British and American accent for the respective dubs.
- McCalla never got a chance to voice Asher in the sixth series, although, he did sing the UK version of the CPHQ Song for Discover Chuggington: All Aboard!.
