Helpful Hodge is the thirty-ninth episode of the first season.
Plot
Koko and Hodge decide to have a competition of who gets the most jobs done in a day. Unfortunately for Hodge, there isn't much for him to do and Eddie wants to focus on fixing his guitar. Hodge desperately tries to find things for him and Eddie to repair, causing more harm than good. At the end of the day, Hodge still ends up winning the competition by accidentally fixing Eddie's guitar by catching it with a magnet car.

- Hodge's left wiper clips through his roof on two occasions at the start of the episode.
- During the scene of Koko helping Old Puffer Pete up the hill, part of the rear-end to Pete's running board is missing.
- When Koko arrives at the Saw Mill, her rear wheel trucks on her right-hand side are missing.
