Background information[]

Hanzo is a fictional electric locomotive created by Sarah Ball.

Being the leader and mentor of Speed Fleet, Hanzo has become a fairly recurring character, still appearing to this day.

Hanzo is most likely based on the Japanese Shinkansen E7/W7 Series, and is painted royal blue and white with bronze couplers and wheel trucks.

CGI model[]

In 2012, Hanzo was designed and modelled by Ludorum in the 3D modelling software Maya during the production of the fourth series. Hanzo was originally named "Benjiro."[1][2]
