The Chuggineer Wagons are the cars used by the Chuggineers when building and constructing.
Ballast Wagons[]
Ballast wagons are used for spreading ballast into the ground to form the base for new track lines.
Biography[]
After its introduction, the ballast wagon was first used by the more experienced members of the Chuggineers, but Zack eventually taught Brewster how to use it too. Brewster soon noticed spreading the ballast evenly was more difficult than it seemed. Being the largest and heaviest car of the Chuggineers, two ballast wagons were later used to carry the heavy loads of the Iron Chuggers competition.
Livery[]
The wagon is yellow all around with black hazard stripes. The footplate is grey with a red lining. A black variant without the hazard stripes was later seen in the Iron Chuggers competition.

- After the fifth season, the series returned to the simplified way of building tracks from the first three seasons, making the ballast wagon unnecessary. Correspondingly, it hasn't appeared in the series since.
Welding Wagons[]
Welding wagons are small pieces of rolling stock that are used for welding tracks together or to the ground.
Biography[]
The Chuggineers most often use the welding wagon for connecting tracks together. Brewster once went down the old Silver Mine Line to get some training with the car in peace; he ended up repairing a broken bridge by securing its tracks with scrap metal and welding them together with the car, allowing himself and Koko get over the bridge safely and making Zack very impressed.

The wagon has a yellow arm with a blue base at the bottom, adding hazard stripes. The footplate is also grey with a red lining. A green variant of the car equipped with a small green and red crane arm appeared in The Old Silver Mine Line.

Crane Wagon[]
Crane wagons are equipped with a strong crane arm. There are two different variants of it; a short-based 6-wheeled one and a 12-wheeled one with a longer base.
Biography[]
Being useful in all kinds of different builds, repairs and odd jobs too, the crane wagon has appeared regularly in the series after its introduction. The wagon's been used for setting up the decorations for the Festival of Lights, repairing bridges, building new stations and water towers and even just stacking up crates.

The wagon is blue with hazard stripes all over the crane arm and the footplate, with red lining on the side.

Digger Wagons[]
Digger wagons are made for digging up the ground to make way for a new build. It was first seen in Rescue at Rocky Ridge. Similarly to the Crane Wagon, there are two different variations of it; a small one and a larger version with a longer base.
Biography[]
Initially, the Chuggineers most often used the digger wagons for digging a base for new track lines. However, after the fifth season, their way to build tracks was reverted to the simpler one of the first three seasons. The digger wagons started to be used in more creative ways, such as clearing tracks of rocks and loading materials into other wagons. In wintertime, the trainees have also used them for snowball fights.

Chuggineer Flatcars[]
Chuggineer flatcars are a type of flatcar that are designed for transporting the heavy equipment of the Chuggineers.
Biography[]
While they were mainly designed for Chuggineer use, the Chuggineer flatcars are also commonly used for heavy hauling all around Chuggington. The containers of the Docks and the Drop and Load Yard are often transported on them.
Livery[]
The first model of the wagon is gray with red lining with hazard stripes in the front and back. The second model is simple, just gray with red lining.

Cutting Wagons[]
Cutting wagons are made for cutting through solid objects such as track, trees or poles. It was first seen in Rescue at Rocky Ridge.
Biography[]
Despite its versatility, the Cutting Wagon was only seen used for cutting track pieces most of the time. It was a necessary tool for the Chuggineers while building Silver Hopper Station and replacing the broken tracks near Rocky Ridge River.

The wagon is red with hazard stripes on the crane arm and body, with a grey footplate and red lining.

Demolition Wagons[]
Demolition wagons are mostly used for demolishing buildings or clearing out mines. The drill part of it can also be used for drilling.
Biography[]
The Demolition Wagon, usually operated by Tyne, got its proper introduction when the Chuggineers were demolishing an old cooling tower in the countryside. The wagon was later used for creating the starting hole for a new tunnel near Border Bridge.

Magnet Wagons[]

Magnet wagons are used to pick up anything made of metal and was first seen in Rescue at Rocky Ridge. It is based on another car that the Chuggineers still use to this day.
Biography[]
The Chuggineer Magnet Wagon, not unlike the original Magnet Car, is a wagon that produces an electromagnetic field to pick up any metal objects. It has been almost exclusively used for laying tracks all around Chuggington.

The normal wagon is orange with hazard stripes everywhere, while the original is bright yellow with a grey footplate.

Tipper Wagons[]
Tipper wagons can carry rocks and waste and tip them over quickly. It was first seen in Fearless Wilson.
Biography[]
Only needed in certain types of builds and repairs, the Tipper Wagons are among the more rarely seen chuggineering wagons. While the cars were once seen used for filling small metal racks with gravel, the Chuggineers mostly use them for cleaning up after their work. As of the sixth season, the cars are also used more commonly at Rocky Ridge Quarry and the Docks for transporting materials such as gravel and sand.

The wagon is painted yellow with white striping on the front and rear, along with hazard stripes on the side and front footplate and red lining on the top of the wagon and the side of the footplate.

Sweeper Wagons[]
Sweeper wagons are attachments that are used to sweep and clean the tracks once the Chuggineers are finished with task, usually a demolition.
Biography[]
Brewster once found his first sun kink on the track when using the sweeper. Another time, Fletch and Tyne were taking down an old bridge and after dirty work was done, sweep down the track leaving the site just a little cleaner.
