Calley is a small German shunting engine who is Dunbar's and Jackman's assistant as well as the rescue chugger.

Bio

Calley has her own set of service cars to perform her many different tasks. For example, with a fuel car attached behind her, she is able to refuel the chuggers. In the event of a fire, she has a fire service car with hoses to put out the flames. If a chugger ever breaks down, then Calley is also the rescue chugger to help out. She loves to use her flashing yellow warning lights when she's out on an emergency. Below Calley's Underground Shed is an underground chamber containing all her rolling stocks. In the event of an emergency, she is lowered underground to a turntable, so that she can quickly hook up to her rolling stock, before shooting off through a network of tunnels that take her under the city that is now replaced with Chug Patrol Headquarters where she works with Jackman.

Basis

Calley is loosely based on a Krauss-Maffei ML 500 C diesel hydraulic shunter which were built in Germany.

Livery

Calley is painted orange with a dark green cab roof.

Trivia

• She is good at using the Chug Patrol Karts.
• Calley is the only diesel Chugger with coupling rods.
• She is one of two of the smallest heavy hauling Chuggers in Chuggington (the other being Hodge).
• She is Dunbar's assistant and helps the trainees with earning their badges or just with everyday jobs.
• As of Season 4, Calley is a member of Chug Patrol. She became slightly larger, got repainted in the Chug Patrol Livery, and received more flashing lights and a louder siren.
• In Season 6, her body was reused and modified into Tai.
• In Season 6 , Calley is expected to return as a picture of her whilst in production shows she is different, thus yet to return.
• Strangely, Calley is absent from the Chug Patrol HQ Discover Chuggington: All Aboard! Song.
• Her role for the seasons were as a teacher, Rescue Chugger and assistant of Chug Patrol.
• Both she and Asher are based on German locomotives.
• In Polish, she is called "Kaja".
• Calley's horn resembles that of a fire engine.
