A number of wagons built for audio and visual broadcasts are used in Chuggington.

Rolling Reporter Wagon[]

The Rolling Reporter wagon is a visual and audio recorder device that was built by Dr. Ling. Wilson used the wagon to make a report for the Chuggington News while driving over Border Bridge.[1]

The Rolling Reporter wagon has two crane arms. One arm is fitted with a monitor, and the other is fitted with a zoom lens. A button on the wagon enables the zoom lens to maintain focus on the reporter. While the lens is tracking the reporter, it moves under its own power.

Livery[]

The Rolling Reporter wagon is painted pale-orange with yellow accents and unpainted silver handrails, buffers and buffer housings. The structure that the crane arm with a monitor is mounted on is painted green.

Radio Broadcast Wagon[]

The Radio Broadcast wagon is an audio recorder device that is used to record all of the programmes that air on Radio Chuggington. The wagon was originally used during the era of steam engines, but it was repaired by Morgan and has seen further use as a result of the revival of Radio Chuggington.[2] Wilson now operates the wagon.

The Radio Broadcast Wagon has a crane arm that is fitted with a microphone. The audio that is recorded by the wagon is transmitted in real time to special speakers that are located around Chuggington. The microphone can be enabled or disabled with a button.
